Weather at Star Ranch
Plan your visit with live conditions from Star Ranch’s on-site weather station, maintained by our official ranch meteorologist, plus regional forecasts for McDade and the surrounding area.
Star Ranch’s official meteorologist
Star Ranch is fortunate to have a dedicated volunteer meteorologist who oversees our local weather reporting. Our meteorologist has installed a new Davis professional-grade weather station on the ranch.
This upgrade gives members and guests much more reliable data when Texas weather turns serious — especially more accurate summer temperatures during peak heat and more accurate rainfall totals when storms move through McDade.
The live dashboard below pulls directly from that station so you can see current ranch conditions before you head our way.
