STAR RANCH “ROADKILL” CONTEST RULES
1. All entries must be original to the cook.
2. Each entry must have a unique name. Be creative.
3. Make it pretty! Appearance is a category on the scorecard.
4. Each entry must appear “as if” it was made with an animal typically found dead on the side of the road, such as a deer, rabbit, opossum, groundhog, or snake. DO NOT USE ACTUAL ROADKILL!!!
5. Entrants must note if their entry contains nuts or gluten.
6. Be prepared to explain your offering, or tell a story about it.
7. Judging categories include:
a. Taste
b. Appearance
c. Creative Name
d. Originality
8. Prizes will be awarded for first and second place.
